North-west of Rome you will find the area of Cerveteri, a very old town – the ancient “Cisra”. From the 8th to the 4th Cent. B.C. this town has been one of the most important commercial and cultural centres of the Ektruscans. Nearby you will find the Etruscan necropole which belongs to the UNESCO world-treasure of culture. Walking along ancient paths, you will be able to visit the Etruscan tombs, which remind the frescos and decorations of the Egyptian tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
